About Me

Welcome!

No Magic Buttons was developed as an avenue to express ideas and blog about life in general. I truly hope you find something here that helps you through your day. Warning!! My blog will be diverse. I have over 54 years of experience to share with those who wish to visit and read. We’re all just building our lives one day at a time with no magic buttons to help us get through it.

MY STORY

I am a wife, mother of two beautiful adult children, and a Nana. I live in Anchorage, Alaska. I have a bachelor’s degree in History, years of administrative and paralegal experience, and enough technology experience to be dangerous.

My hobbies are gardening, fishing and camping, playing golf, biking, taking trips with my husband in our RV, reading, and spending time with family.

I love to help people. I have been helping people all my life in one way or another. It is something that comes naturally to me whether it was as a Sunday School teacher or other children’s ministries, as a homeschooling mom, a college student, a Girl Scout leader, a Boy Scout leader, a business owner, or as a full-time employee.

Helping people is what I do. So… No Magic Buttons was born with the hope of helping others muddle through this thing we call life.

WHY I WANT TO HELP PEOPLE

I have always been a giver of sorts. It is in my nature to help people. When I find something that will help others, I naturally want to share it with them. Thus, the reason for this site. I have many, many ideas that I hope will come to fruition as my site develops and will help a lot of you.

THE GOAL OF THIS SITE

The goal of this site is to share my experiences, my ideas, my recipes, stuff that I use that you may like, my ups and downs, and many other things in the hope that I can help you, the reader.

If you like something, please feel free to comment. If you don’t like something, please feel to comment but just remember there is a real live person behind the scenes that have feelings too.

I encourage people to communicate and share their ideas. This makes us a wonderful community of people.

Many Blessings,

Pamela
